NAMCP Medical Directors Institute is “an association management company comprised of non-profit organizations” established in 1991 to serve the needs of medical directors employed by managed care organizations. The Accreditation Council accredits them for Continuing Medical Education, and their “focus is providing continuing education for managed care physicians and nurses.” They have two conferences each year: the Spring Managed Care Forum and the Fall Managed Care Forum. The conferences serve over 2,000 attendees in total and take place in Orlando and Las Vegas, respectively.
Before NAMCP was introduced to ATS, their badging process was antiquated, and they were experiencing 4 to 5 issues per conference regarding their previous lead retrieval system. “We were growing as a conference and an organization. However, our registration, name badge, and lead retrieval system was inadequate both logistically and visually.”Because of this, they started looking for companies who could help bring their processes up to speed and take some of this stress off their shoulders to focus on other vital areas of their conferences, such as their education programming. They did their research and came across ATS’s website and videos. After deciding that ATS “stood out over competitors,” they decided to reach out. The areas of concern for NAMCP were the following:

ATS worked with Jeremy to create a custom vinyl badge just for their events that are mailed to NAMCP ahead of the conference to include name badges in their attendee packets easing up the registration lines onsite. As well, ATS customized a print on demand system for NAMCP so that attendees registering onsite would have a quick and straightforward way to acquire their credentials. To survey all attendees, to find out if they were staying in a conference-contracted hotel or elsewhere, ATS created an easy way to survey attendees at registration using our lead retrieval technology with custom qualifiers. When attendees pick up their badges, their badge is scanned, and their survey response is recorded within a few seconds.Lastly, ATS developed a lead retrieval system for NAMCP’s exhibitors to scan attendees’ badges who visit their booths instead of collecting (and perhaps losing) paper business cards.
